Licensing

Ink & Dot reserves the right to modify this Licensing policy at any time without giving you prior notice.

Your use of our products after any such modifications is your agreement to follow the Licensing policy as modified.

NON-PROFIT & PERSONAL USE

You can use our artwork on personal or non-profit projects and are not required to provide credit as long as NO MONEY / INCOME is derived (made).

If you share your personal or non-profit project (e.g. as a giveaway or freebie) on your personal or non-profit site, blog or social media all Ink & Dot artwork must be flattened, uneditable and unextractable.

We require credit be given to Ink & Dot including a url that links back to https://www.inkanddot.com within the description and on the same page as the item.

COMMERCIAL USE - CREDIT REQUIRED

Our artwork come with limited commercial use of 500 units or less and requires credit be given to Ink & Dot including a url that links back to https://www.inkanddot.com.

The link should be placed on the same page as the product that is being sold or displayed.

COMMERCIAL USE - NO CREDIT REQUIRED

If you want to use our artwork commercially (500 units sold or less) and do not wish to display our name or link anywhere then you have the option to purchase our NO Credit License(s).

The NO Credit License(s) gives you the right to use our products without letting anyone know where they came from.

There is an extra fee for these licenses.

WHAT ARE YOU ALLOWED TO DO:

DIGITAL PRODUCT DESIGNERS

You can use our artwork personally or commercially to create digital printable files.

Files must be flattened and enough of your own design must be added to make it a unique design.

SIMPLE COLLAGE SHEETS are not ALLOWED.

Files must be sold as flattened JPEG or PDF files.

Do not sell our artwork layered or on white backgrounds as printables.

All other digital creations are allowed as long as graphics are flattened and enough of your design is added to make it a new original design.

You can only sell digital creations for PERSONAL USE.

DIGITAL - PRINTABLES

You must add a background or images of your own design along with our art in order for it to be unextractable by the customer.

Files must be flattened and enough of your own design must be added to make it a unique design.

SIMPLE COLLAGE SHEETS are not ALLOWED.

Do not sell our artwork as layered files.

Files must be sold as flattened JPEG or PDF files.

You cannot simply paste our images on a white page as this allows customers to simply copy and paste in any program and have access to the original art.

This also applies to stickers, party printables, planner accessories, and colouring pages.

TEACHERS & EDUCATORS

You can use our products personally or commercially (TPT).

We require graphic credit to Ink & Dot as with a clickable link to https://www.inkanddot.com inside your PDF document or wherever you display or sell the file.

The files must be flattened, uneditable and unextractable.

You cannot share our original artwork for free.

If you do not wish to credit us commercially see COMMERCIAL NO CREDIT REQUIRED above.

LOGO AND WEB DESIGNERS

You can use our clipart for personal or commercial use, to create logo and web designs to sell.

For logo design use the clipart as part of the design not as is.

You may not sell graphics as a LOGO unless they are considerably altered.

For Website / Blog templates, banners, headers, footers, buttons, store fronts – please make sure the files are flattened at 72 dpi and cannot be extracted.

MOBILE APPS

You can use our clipart for personal or commercial use, you must credit us with a link or purchase our NO CREDIT LICENSE (see COMMERCIAL USE – NO CREDIT REQUIRED section above).

You must ensure that our artwork is not extractable. Our art must be part of a design and not sold as is, or be downloadable as an image.

Please purchase one of the following usage licenses depending upon your user base:

PRINTED PRODUCT DESIGNERS & FABRIC DESIGNERS

You can use our clipart for personal or commercial use.

You have unrestricted rights of production but it must not exceed 500 units sold, for more than 500 units sold you must buy one of our additional sales licenses.

You can also create PRINTED products for Etsy, other selling platforms or your own store.

CUTTING FILE DESIGNERS

You can use our clipart to create LAYERED CUTTING FILES only that requires assembly after cutting.

Clipart cannot be simply converted to SVG or other cutting formats and sold as cutting files. Jpeg, AI, EPS, SVG, and PNG format files cannot be shared.

Do not include our original art in your packages, you may use them in the preview but they must be flattened and un extractable.

DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKERS

You can use all our graphics for your personal projects. You CANNOT sell any of our artwork in a commercial Scrapbook kit of any kind even it is altered.

This includes but is not limited to clipart packs, paper packs, and image collections.

EMBROIDERY DIGITIZERS

You can use our products personally or commercially as long as the file is a digital embroidery file.

You may not include any of our original files in your download.

IMPORTANT:

if you do not purchase a no credit license and use our products commercially then you should be linking back to our store, please see COMMERCIAL USE – CREDIT REQUIRED above.

WHAT ARE YOU NOT ALLOWED TO DO:

  • Third party sale or wholesale.
  • You cannot sell our graphics as is and claim as your own.
  • You cannot sell, trade, share or give away for free our designs as is or altered including but not limited to clipart packs, digital paper packs, scrapbook kits or as a part of image collections.

  • You cannot share our graphic files for free even if it is personal use.

  • You cannot use our graphics to create products and sell on a competitor website.

    For example do not create scrapbooking kits, templates, clipart packs or paper packs and sell on a digital download boutique/store who is a direct competitor of Ink & Dot.

  • You cannot use our images for unlawful use.
  • You may not use content in a pornographic, defamatory or other unlawful manner.

All Ink & Dot products are copyright of Ink & Dot and cannot be claimed as your own.

Indemnification clause

By using our art the customer accepts that Ink & Dot and it’s artists are indemnified from any lawsuits that might arise from any business activities, which in any way or form relate to products carrying the artwork sold by Ink & Dot.
